I can mount the drive with: mount /dev/sdc1 /mnt/usbdrive

Autofs is running. I have edited the associated files and here are the relevant excerpts:

From auto.master:
/misc /etc/auto.misc ; I left auto.misc alone- which could be a problem
/mnt/usbdrive/ /etc/auto.usb --timeout=3

From auto.usb
usbflash -fstype=auto :/dev/sdc ; I also tried sdc0 and sdc1, without any difference

And just for kicks I added this to fstab:
/dev/sdc1 /mnt/usbflash auto defaults 0 0

What an I doing wrong, or not doing...?

Thanks,

Bill
