View Full Version : Burning mp3 CDs

I've just got a personal CD walkman thingy that plays mp3s, is there a good program that will burn mp3s onto CD without converting them to the usual CD format? I've had a look at k3b but I don't think that burns mp3 CDs, unless someone can advise me differently....

Use the cd-writer that comes with FC1....just drag & drop and burn its a little similiar to nero!

Oh OK, simple as that?

K3B is probably the best GUI app for burning (any-kind-of) cds on Linux (but I personaly preffer few scripts and raw cdrecord/cdrdao/mkisofs and so on)... Just burn those MP3's as files (not as Audio CD) and it should work.

Of course, I never thought of doing it that way! I'm such a d*mbass!
How about this though, is there a way to order the tracks the same as they were on the CD, as opposed to alphabetically?

k3b is great no doubt about it!

with cd-writer you can drag and drog in any order you want that is how i do it and it seems to work just fine for me never had problems with it!

play around with cd-roast/cd-writer/k3b and see which one you like best! that is what linux is all about!
