I'm not sure if this belongs here or in the server-forum. I'll explain...

I run my own mailserver using Postfix and Dovecot. When I connect to the server from Thunderbird in order to check or send email I get the "Accept this certificate, etc."-popup, as I should. But when I choose "Accept this certificate permanently" I just get the popup again. Thunderbird refuses to accept the certificate on a permanent basis.

This means that every single time I check or send email I get this damn popup and it's starting be quite annoying.

So does anybody know any reason why Thunderbird would refuse to accept the certificate on anything other than a per-session basis? Or at least some clues as to how I can track down what's wrong? I'm a bit of a n00b with the Postfix/Dovecot-combo I'll admit, and the set-up was done largely using online tutorials and howtos.
