I just began using Revelation, and I noticed in the "Goto Commands" prefs, you can add strings to your command. I can't seem to get it to auto-fill and auto-submit my username and password in Firefox for websites (much like a 3rd-party form filler I use in Windoze). My tester login site is
http://www.fedoraforum.org/?
and I've tried all kinds of strings in the prefs like
gnome-open %U %u &p
gnome-open %Uup
gnome-open %U(%u%p)
but obviously I don't fully understand what those strings mean or how to make them work for my needs. Anybody know what I can do? Thanks.

Are you using Gnome 2? There might be others out there, but I think revelation is only compatible with Gnome 2

I'm not sure. I installed FC6 with defaults.
how do I find out?

I'm not sure if this is even possible, so thanks for any help.

theres usually a foot as your "start" button. It is just a desktop is all it is (gnome, kde, etc.)

I thought the foot was for kde only. Anyways, I know that I'm using gnome, I just don't know if it's gnome 2.
