Hi there guys,

I'm in need of some functionality that GIMP doesn't easily provide in it's stock form, and I've spent over three hours scouring the web, grabbing what I can find, but I'm having a small problem:

All of the sites(including script repositories) don't divulge what version of GIMP the extension is written for. I've spent an incredible amount of time installing GIMP 1 plugins, and I'm growing weary of it.

Does anyone know of any sites that have a good selection of extensions for GIMP2?

thanks,

Hello schwim:
I cannot find the links at the moment, however, from past experience the folks here can point you in the right direction.
Not sure if you have already visited here or not, so I hope this helps you out. Gimp Talk Community (http://www.gimptalk.com/forum/index.php)

Hey there guys!

Thanks very much to the both of you for the links. The guys on irc.gimp.org pointed me to the registry, but I had never seen that community forum before. Shortly, they will rue the day that they met me, just like you guys do! :D

I don't have any problem at all getting to know the GIMP, as it's logic is close to PSP, which I used exclusively in the past, but I was quite surprised at the lack of scripts available(both OSS and commercial) scripts for the GIMP, as designers will part with appendages to be able to do what they need to do. It seems like the perfect audience.

Thanks again guys,
