View Full Version : freenx connection timeout

9th April 2007, 01:05 AM
I know there are a lot of posts on freenx but i havent managed to find the answer yet.

I have installed nx and freenx on my FC6 box. I am trying to connect to it from a windows machine on the same home network ( via a router).

I have copied over the key etc from linux box to windows box, and authentication seems fine.

I first got errors saying /usr/libexec/nx/nxagent didnt exist, but I found that it was a symbolic link to the file in /usr/lib/NX .. which doesnt exist because I am running x86_64 verison of FC6. So I updated the link and that problem went away.

Now i get all the way through authentication and get a "connection timeout" error.

The details are posted below.

If anyone can help please let me know.??

PS. I can ssh on port 22 using putty no problems at all...
