I have ati x700 mobile, could i expect the drivers to be installed with fedora?

Last time i tried i had to install the drivers(by livna) myself after installing the OS, and Im not that good at linux so figuring that out was a nut for me :-) So I wonder if there been a change, is supported drivers added to the install? (good to know before I dowload the installer cd)

Just the normal kmod-fglrx work like a charm :). Be sure to disable composite else you won't get direct rendering (with the livna-display-config). System -> administration -> More-system-settings -> livna-display-config.

But you'll need to install the drivers first.'
Just look at this page http://www.fedorafaq.org/#radeon.

I also have this card on my laptop and it didn't give me any problems so far :). I know how hard it was being a linux "noob", so I hope this clears some things up :)
