I have two systems connected to a 4 port USB KVM switch. I have Windows XP Pro installed on one and FC6 installed on the other. The monitor is working fine for both but the keyboard and mouse is only working for the Windows system. I checked all the connections and they are OK.

It seems FC6 is not able to detect the KVM. Has anyone had this problem before? Do I need a driver in FC6 for the KVM.

System Details;
EDIMAX 4 port USB KVM switch
FC6 installed on;
Dell Optiplex GX 745
Intel Pentium 1.86 GHZ Core 2 Duo Processor

Kind regards,

Majdi

I finally discovered the problem, the KVM switch is faulty. I have replaced it and FC6 is working fine with my new KVM switch.

Maybe it's that time of the year, or something. My KVM switch just went bad, as well. Only the keyboard connection. The monitor and the mouse are working fine, but the keyboard connection went bad. I can't find the keyboard in the second system. Time to replace mine, as well.
