Hello. I have installed Emulex LP1050 HBA's in a Fedora Core 6 host. The driver that gets loaded as part of the kernel is the Emulex LightPulse Fibre Channel SCSI driver 8.1.9. In order to configure the HBA settings you need to have lputil or hbaanyware installed. Unfortuanetly the apps are only compatible with RHEL 4, 5 and SUSE 10. I tried installing them anyway, but the libraries are missing. Its giving me an error when I try to run the app, "error while loading shared libraries: libdfc.so." Same when I try to run the hbaanyware app. Can somebody please suggest a fix for this issue?

Thanks.

Hey, did you ever find a fix for this? I am in the same boat. I was able to get the HBAnywhere and IpUtil utilities loaded, but it tells me the lpfc driver is not loaded, even though it clearly is.
