I sent several jobs to my Brother HL 1440 attached to a USB Port. In the list by mistake, about 3 jobs down, is(was) a 75 page document. After the first job printed I realized I really didn't want to print the 75 page document. I turned the printer off and tried to find the Print Manager to cancel that job. Couldn't find it. I searched these forums but could find nothing that seemed to apply. Several post in various newsgroups mention using Print Manager being in the System on the panel. If it is there, I sure can't find it.

Am using FC6 and Gnome. Will someone please point me to it. Clearly, I am a newbie here.

Thank you.

try this in command line

lpq

that tells you the number of the jobs, and then you can do

lprm JOB-NUMBER

to remove the print JOB

Thank you Arnott. I can always resort to that but surely there must be a way to do it from Gnome.

Thanks again.

Usually, when I print a little printer icon shows up on the panel. Click it or maybe right click it.
