Is there a way to drag and drop files on a DVD RW disc and use it like a hard drive. I could do that in Windows with Roxio's Drag to Disc program.
First the DVD RW was formatted then when you dropped files onto the RW disc icon in the file manager the file would transfer over in real time, just like using a hard drive. There was no need to burn to disc in seperate sessions. Pretty cool to have in Fedora.

I don't remember the details, but a google search for "linux packet writing" will give you some hints. It's not relly different from the windows method, but - IIRC - you need dvd+rw disks.
