Hi,
I've installed k9copy.
After that I've was not able to burn a new DVD any more.
I'm not sure if it's a software or hardware problem.
It's strange because I'm able to burn CD's and read DVDs and CDs with the same device.
I thought that removing k9copy would solve the problem but instead of that I found a new surprise.
I'm not able to remove it. From the Terminal as root I'm able tu run it by typing 'k9copy' but unable to remove it installing 'yum remove k9copy'.

Perhaps someone can help me with my DVD problems
Thanks.

You should be able to do a rpm -e K9copy as root to remove it.

I made :

[root@95-109-235-201 /]# rpm -e K9copy
error: package K9copy is not installed

[root@95-109-235-201 /]# rpm -e k9copy
error: package k9copy is not installed

Any other idea?

Check your yum.log for the *exact* name of the program installed, like K9copy or k9copy etc...

Check your yum.log for the *exact* name of the program installed, like K9copy or k9copy etc...
Here's the output of the yum.log of the day the problems began:

I'm not sure.
As I'm new with linux it was probably with the web site instructions or with some guide in this forums.
Im sure it was in Jan 3 as you con see in my last post.
Perhaps someone can tell me if there's something wrong with the resto of applications I've installed and if one of them may have something to do with my DVD burning problem.
Thanks again!

Try using the entire file name like,
yum erase k9copy-1.1.0.i386 1-1beta
I'm no expert either, but I remember having to do that with a few programs before as well.

how do you yum install k9copy ?

You don't, you find the k9copy homepage and download the RPM from their downloads page.
