I am running Fedora Core 6 x86_64, when I run yum install wine it gives a list of packages that it wants to install of witch are gphoto2-2.3.1-3.fc6.i386, libexif-0.6.13-2.i386, and libieee1284-0.2.9-3.2.2.i386. The problem is I have the x86_64 versions of these packages during the Transaction checking I get the following errors:

Transaction Check Error: file /usr/share/hal/fdi/information/20thirdparty/10-camera-libghoto2.fdi from install of gphoto2-2.3.1-3.fc6 conflicts with file from package gphoto2-2.2.0-2.1
file /usr/share/man/man1/gphoto2.1.gz from install of gphoto2-2.3.1-3.fc6 conflicts with file from package gphoto2-2.2.0-2.1

Has anyone else encountered this and is there a work around?

try this but watch out for the deps

su -
yum remove gphoto2*
yum install wine*

but watch out for the deps
