How to install Totem plug-ins? I've installed Xine and Mplayer with all the decoders. How can I copy these decoders to Totem so that Totem can play mp3 files? I'm a newbie, thanks a lot!

Thanks a lot. But can I play other media files besides mp3? In other word, can I manually copy the codecs to some directories in order to install the Windows Media plug-in?

Hello:
I don't understand your question ?
What types of files are you unable to play ?
If you mean are there other codecs [not plugins] available to install ? The answer is yes.
You can get them here : ftp://ftp1.mplayerhq.hu/MPlayer/releases/codecs/all-20061022.tar.bz2
and follow the instructions here to install them: http://stanton-finley.net/fedora_core_5_installation_notes.html#Codecs

Edit:
Sorry Wayne, didn't mean to post over you didn't see your post at all $%!%!%! lag... :(

Beer lag Seve? :D It's Thursday evening here (Blade will be on in about 10 mins) and I'm on my third beer. I haven't had any since Sunday and it tastes like ^%^$&! My taste-buds have not recovered from this cold! They'd better soon because I have a ticket for a real ale festival on Sunday!!! $30!!!!

Yes, if you install the plugins Seve mentioned. See the top to set up repos, etc:

http://www.geocities.jp/rondonko/fc6notes.html

The 'dirty' codecs for MP3, etc:

http://www.geocities.jp/rondonko/fc6notes.html#Rhythmbox

The codecs for wma, etc:

http://www.geocities.jp/rondonko/fc6notes.html#Codecs

Start at the top and work your way down bypassing anything you don't need.
