Hi,
As an alternative to VMWare I am trying to install VirtualBox (http://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/VirtualBox) on FC6. Following the installation instructions here (http://www.howtoforge.com/virtualbox_fedora_centos_opensuse) I receive the following error message in the installation log file (/var/log/vbox-install.log):

ERROR: Kernel configuration is invalid."; \
echo " include/linux/autoconf.h or include/config/auto.conf are missing."; \
echo " Run 'make oldconfig && make prepare' on kernel src to fix it.";

Thanks in advance for your help. I will also appreciate it if anyone can describe his/her experience with VirtualBox.

Hello:
Assuming that you have both the matching kernel-devel and kernel-headers installed ?
Then as root try:
touch /usr/src/kernels/2.6.XX-X.XXXX.fc6-i686/include/linux/config.h

Where: 2.6.XX-X.XXXX.fc6-i686 = your current kernel
and give it a whirl again.

Thanks for the reply!
I do have the .fc6-x86_64 kernel-devel + headers as well as the config.h file, but I can't install th VirtualBox.
