So i am new to fedora. i was wanting to run a live disk just to check it out. i have down loaded the live disk torrent and unzipped it. i was gunna burn an image to a disk, but can find an iso or anyting. i might be doing ti completely wrong. i could not find anysupport for this issue anywhere. if someone could give me a link to where to get help or tell me how to do it i would appreciate it. i really want to get away from microsoft, but i would like to run the live disk first just to look around. thanks guys.

where did you download it to? If you don't know and you don't know at least a partial file name to search on, download it again and take note of where it downloads to.

If you have lost the .iso file, maybe a search will help. On windows, right click Start-->Search and enter
*.iso in the text box...next select the C:\ drive from where you would like to start the search.

It is usually good practice to create a folder called "Downloads" on your Desktop, and use it to hold items you download from the web, either via http, ftp or a torrent. Torrent clients often create their own default directory to save files. But in either case, a browser or a torrent client should let you specify the "Downloads" folder as the place to hold them.

You could also try a http:// or ftp:// mirror to dl the f7test1 iso, by using your web browser.

Note: not all mirrors/repo's might have the iso, and in most cases you need to navigate/drill down to the following path, minus the domain name:
The 6.9 is the current name of the directory that holds the latest and greatest :) :D :eek:
