Hello:
Perhaps you already have mplayer-fonts installed ?
rpm -aq | grep mplayer-fonts
and or
yum list | grep mplayer-fonts

just as you said, it seems that I have already installed it.

But I still can not start my MPlayer normally.What should I do now?

Just an idea ....

Check your installed fonts i.e. /usr/share/fonts directory.

Then, open the gui.conf file in your ~/.mplayer directory and make sure you type the correct filename in the line that starts like "font_name=". For example my gui.conf goes like this :
....
font_name = "/usr/share/fonts/dejavu-lgc/DejaVuLGCSerif.ttf"
...

Hope I helped you :)

Thank you for that.
I found all the files you mentioned. And mine is the same as yours.
In gui.conf, I cannot find a line star with font_name.So I add a line myself just like
font_name = "/usr/share/fonts/dejavu-lgc/DejaVuLGCSerif.ttf"
but the same problem is still there.

Any solutions?

Try to delite ~/.mplayer/*

and start mplayer for the first time!
