my card is ATI X700 mobility, CPU AMD64.
if i want to install the ATI driver on my FC6, what should i do? just simply run the "# yum install xorg-x11-drv-fglrx kmod-fglrx glx-utils"?(But I am using the Gnome) do I have to edit the /etc/X11/xorg.conf file? if yes, HOW?
thank you for reading

As far as i know, i think yes, that's all. The xorg.conf must be configured but anyway, there are and application that will appear in the menu to allow you to configure.

I tryed to run this comand and got.

ftp://mirrors.tummy.com/pub/rpm.livna.org/fedora/6.90/x86_64/repodata/repomd.xml

I gues there is no fedora/6.90/ directory since this is only the fc7 test1. Is there anny way I can cange the mirrors to look for fedora/7 or fedora/6 instead?

I gave up and reinstaled the FC6 and the comand worked well.

I can finaly see my desktop on the notebooks internal lcd and not on the vga output :)
