Hi guys,

I did something really stupid I've deleted openssl because I had more then 3 installed and I had problems compiling apache with mod ssl so I thought lets reinstall it but after uninstallation I couldn't do anything every cmd I issue I get
"libssl.so.6: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory"

I can't reinstall via rpm, I can't yum the only thing I can do is use ftp, so I've setup a local ftp server on my win xp machine and started transferring files I've tried to compile from .tar.gz but that didn't help.

Can anyone either upload libssl.so.6 so i'll put in the /lib and /lib64 dir and I hope that then I could reinstall the original package

Appreciate any help that you may provide

I can't reinstall via rpm, I can't yum the only thing I can do is use ftp,

First verify it and see how messed up it is:
rpm -V openssl

Download the openssl rpm from a Fedora mirror. Then have a look at rpm's various options to install it. You'll probably want --replacefiles
