I just finished install FC6 and it's not been fun actualy less than fun...

Anyway, I'm geting some errors when booting after trying to get my video capture card going but I'm not exactly sure where the startup log is to find out the specifics.

The Network card has stopped working and also the sound card, those I know about.

Themessage that I' seeingis something to the effect of "Can't open HIDP control..." and "Loading AutoFS4 failed".

Can anyone lend a hand?

Thx,

If you go to system>administration>system log (in Gnome), you should be able to find the startup log there.

I'm using KDE as a frontend and did a search for "startup.log" with no success.

try having a look in /var/log/messages, kernel events get put in there or /var/log/boot.log for boot info.

There's a boot.log but it's empty..

Any information you need should be in either of those files, check in the messages one.
