Hey all,
New to Linux, glad I'm here. Going from WXP Pro to FC5. I have a lot of MP3 files. Rythmbox is installed but will not even try to play my files. I ripped (imported) a CD and it plays fine, (saved as .ogg). Convert to .ogg? maybe a better or more robust player around? Looking for advice, lots to learn, at least it's fun.

install gstreamer-plugins-bad & gstreamer-plugins-ugly

depending on which repo you go with...

Problem resolved. Updated yum, installed gstreamer-ugly. Now works like it's duppose to. I'm so used to windows, this linux OS is something that will take a little time. I really like it.
Thanks for the tips, I really appretiate your help.

Any tips on converting wma files to mp3 in FC5? I can do it in windows and reimport, just want to learn linux.
Thanks again,
