I'm not sure if what I'm asking is even possible, but here goes. I have a computer with a single hard drive that runs a program that stores all of it's files on a 230GB partition. I have since run out of space and bought a 400GB hard drive. I would like to install the 400GB drive into my normal desktop system and somehow extend the other computer's directory through networking.
My setup would be:
230GB hard drive formatted in XFS mounted on /video
400GB hard drive physically on another computer. Mounted with NFS?
and somehow have the /video directory be 630GB
unfortunately, I can't just add the 400GB into the same computer because the case only have room for one drive.
Thanks for any suggestions

No, you can't.
