My notebook (Dell Latitude D810) started often freezing after upgrade from FC5 to FC6. It typically happens during modem session ( USB modem radio net Eurotel with CDMA modem - GTRAN GPC-6420) - see kernel modul cdc_acm.
Only on the system console (nothing in any system log!!) I see messages:
=================================================
BUG: spinlock lockup on CPU#0, swapper /0, .... (not tainted)
--------------------------------------------------------------
dump_trace ....
show_trace_log_lvl ....

I have tried add GRUB booting options nosmp noapci (to suppres an spinlocks usage), but without any effect.
Any idea?
