Kbackup makes files theat end in .tar. However, when doing tar -xvf what results is a ton of .bz2 files. I don't think this is what the authors intended. Is there some restore utility I don't know about? How do you make unbzip2 recusively de-compress? Where am I going wrong here?
TIA, Ray

If Kbackup made the file can't it extract it as well?

Thanks. When I start Kbackup, I see NOTHING about a restore button, a method, etc. There are docs, but they are not realistic on the restore process. At least, I can't puzzle it out.
