Firewing1 probably has the most amazing HOWTOs ever. Red Hat should hire the man and pay him to write documentation.

please guide me to the first time user stuff.There will be moments that you get frustrated from things not working. Don't worry, keep on reading, on this forum and elsewhere. You will end up with a machine that is very stable and secure and does everything you want. Once you understand what's going on and how to tune that, you'll probably don't want another OS anymore (because this one is really very OK). Can take some time and effort though. GNU/Linux is not made for the lazy among us...
