View Full Version : Xorg High CPU

I have fedora core 6 with the newest kernel on my P4 3.2 HT with 1gb ram and a 64mb nvidia geforce agp video card.

My big problem is that Xorg is my highest performing process. Moving in firefox or idle it runs anywhere from 10-80%. I thought it was related to Xgl but when I disabled it, it still ran that high.

I have the newest drives for my kernel and graphics card.

I have tracked it down to maybe Nvidia related. I am on vnc and xorg is back to normal which makes me believe that maybe the 3d accel is going crazy.

Any thoughts?
