When I try to mount using this:

sudo mount -o loop -t iso9660 /home/neil/RemoteMedia/DVDCollection5.iso /home/neil/MountedMedia/

This is the output:

/home/neil/RemoteMedia/DVDCollection5.iso: Permission denied
sudo mount -o loop -t iso9660 /home/neil/RemoteMedia/DVDCollection5.iso /home/neil/MountedMedia/
[neil@M30 Desktop]$

Both folders exist.

I can browse any ISO through archive manager. But it will not mount. Any ideas? anyone?

Sorry for bothering you all.

I have resolved my problem!

I presumed I could mount through CIFS without requiring Read/Write. I had it on Read to begin with. I have now changed it to Read/Write. I have no idea why it needs to write?

But I will leave this thread incase other people encounter this.
