What are the new base urls for yum after fc6 was realesed? I know there was a topic about it on the homepage of this site but can't ssem to find it.

If you'd somehow managed to mess up the defeault yum configuration you can restore it by doing

The baseurl for core is http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/core/$releasever/$basearch/os/Fedora/RPMS/

by browsing download.fedora.redhat.com you should be able to figure out the rest.

To do a quick restore to default values for all default fedora repos:



rpm -Uvh --replacefiles --force http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/core/6/i386/os/Fedora/RPMS/fedora-release-6-4.noarch.rpm


Note, this uses the --force option. This is nasty! At your own risk!
