Hi

I download bootchart-0.9-1.src.rpm and built and install
on Fedora 5.0 with all of the dependency and reboot it. I look at /var/log/ folder and bootchart.gz is not there. So I look at grub.conf

hiddenmenu
title Bootchart logging
root (hd0,0)
kernel /vmlinuz-2.6.18-1.2239.fc5 ro root=/dev/VolGroup00/LogVol00 rhgb quiet init=/sbin/bootchartd
initrd /initrd-2.6.18-1.2239.fc5.img
title Fedora Core (2.6.18-1.2239.fc5)
root (hd0,0)
kernel /vmlinuz-2.6.18-1.2239.fc5 ro root=/dev/VolGroup00/LogVol00 rhgb quiet
initrd /initrd-2.6.18-1.2239.fc5.img

This grub.conf look good. I download a sample bootchart.gz from the website. I don't think this is the rigth way to do it. Does anyone know how how to debug this?

Hello:
Off hand, I have no idea, however, have you scanned through this thread?

Yes I have. I actually read that before I install it.
