Aight here goes. .
A little while ago i tried a Linux distro named SAM Desktop Linux 2, and there was this extremely sweet terminal that was bound to key F11. When u hit F11 the terminal dropped from the top of the screen, and was transparent (or semi-transparent), and when F11 was sturck again, the terminal scrolled back up and disappeared. . .My question is, was this native to SAM or is there an app i can get that would do that?
Thanks in advance.

For KDE look at yakuake, for GNOME look at greent.

yakuake can be found in Fedora extras....
