I have installed the Fedore Core 6 on virtual machine today.
When I try to install the VMtools, It keeps asking me for the location of the C Kernel files that match to my system.
I looked on the libraries and I couldn't find these source files.
Is there any place where I can download them from? or maybe you can helo other way...
Thank you

Search is a wonderful thing..

You need to make sure gcc and kernel-devel is installed

Two ways:

Go to a terminal

su -
yum install kernel-devel

From desktop:

Applications
Add / Remove Software
List
Press the K key it should automatically move tot he lsit in the Ks
Scroll down to the kernels look for the kernel with the checkmark already in it
You may have more than one with a checkmark Find the one with the highest number by reading left to right. Somewhere in the center you will see the numbers change. Find the one with the highest number and then find the fkernel-devel witht he same number

also check out Fedora Faq link at the top of this page. It should get you over the hills of getting into Linux a bit.
