I am a novice Linux user.
I am using Fedora 5. Intel suggest me to select Linux* RedHat* category as Fedora is not listed there and there I found driver for RedHat Desktop 4 update 4, RedHat Desktop 3 update 7 etc. Now which one should I select for equivalent fedora version.

what hardware do you need a driver for?

In theory, latest Fedora5 = latest red-hat minus 1

Actually RHEL (Red Hat) 4 is more like Fedora 3. Fedora is [somewhat of] a development platform for RHEL. After the community used and improved Fedora 3, it spawned RHEL 4.

I may be wrong on this, but that's what I've been lead to believe from what I've read in the past. Isn't Fedora 6 the basis for the upcoming RHEL 5?
