how can i create a launcher to call a script in fedora 6?

I put the right path to my script 'start_netbeans' in my launcher, click the icon. But nothing happens.
But when i execute the same script at the command line, it works.
Can you please tell me how to get it to work?

Here is my script called 'start_netbeans"
#!/bin/sh

./netbeans --fontsize 12

Try to add an icon to your task bar (basically a shortcut to your net beans java IDE)

1) Right click on your task bar
2) Choose "+ Add to panel"
3) Choose "Custom Application Launcher"
4) A new menu should pop up. Now click on the browse button and browse for your net beans java program.
5) You can choose to add an icon for the shortcut if you wish by clicking on the "No icon" button and choosing one.
6) Once you're happy with the details, just click on OK.
