Hi,

I've searched around (maybe not enough), but im getting two errors when I insert a DVD movie.

1). The source can't be read. Maybe you don't have enough rights for this, or source doesn't contain data (e.g: not disc in drive). (/dev/DVD)

2). - Xine engine error - There is no input plugin available to handle 'DVD:/'. Maybe MRL Syntax is wrong or file/stream source doesnt exist.

both come out at the same time, I configured xine to start automatically when I insert a DVD., any ideas on how to fix this...?

Thanks

/Eric

p.s. if needed, my specs are: athlon xp 2000+, 1.5gb ddr 400 ram, dual boot FC6 / winxp pro via grub, geforce fx 5200, 30gb ide hda (fc6), 40gb ide hdb (storage), 80gb sata hdd (winxp pro), dvdram hdc, cdrw+dvd combo hdd, mobo: msi k7n2 nforce 2 delta2 lsr......

well, for some reason or the other, its started working, it now reads my DVDs with no problems. I think its because I disactivated the mount removable media when inserted option in Removable Drives and Media Preferences.

Try doing that....hope it works for you too.
