Hi all,
in the last two month I can't be able to do a yum update in my fedora core 4 installation.
when I try to do "yum update" my computer start to fill ram and swap space with data and after some minutes the uptime reach 25 and I have to hard reset the machine.
The yum process stop after the detection of mirror.

I have try to do a "yum clean all" but this not resolve the problem.

I have checked my ram (512mb) but it have no problem.

Someone could help me?

have you any repo's enabled beyond the Fedora ones eg Livna...
have you tried disabling all of them and just updating from one?
which is the process that is taking all the memory?
