I have WinXP Sp2 and FC5 installed on a single 60G hard drive in a laptop. What do you guys that run a dual-boot systems use for backing up your systems? I would like to get the Win backup (C: and D: NTFS, F: FAT32) drives on one backup set and the (/ and /boot) EXT3 on another backup set or everything on one backup set. ???

I have an external USB 30G drive to use for a backup drive.

Ghost 10 claims tosupport everything from FAT to NTFS to EXT3 but I have not used GHOST in a long time

I ask this because I have been getting smartd mail to the root user, so I just want to be prepared in case my hdd dies.

thanks,

robert

I use Acronis True Image software to back up my WinXP SP2 and Fedora dual boot
laptop.

It works rather nicely and is not very expensive.

I have Acronis also not sure which version, but shows red x's on the ext3 drives.

I might just need an upgrade.
