Hi,

I'm not sure if I've done anything wrong (I uninstalled and re-installed Firefox 2.0 on Fedora Core 5 because it didn't seem to be working) and now I've lost the ability to play RealPlayer streams in Firefox. I am using RealPlayer 10 from the Real site (version 10.0.8.805 gold). I've tried re-installing the RPM but I can't seem to get Firefox to recognise it like it used to. Have I missed something, or is RealPlayer just not compatible with Firefox 2.0?

It works on my machine so here are some things to check:

1. Does stand alone real player launch (after installing it you need to launch the stand alone to click Agree to the setup and stuff)
2. Are nphelix.{so,xpt} in /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/
3. Is compat-libstdc++-33 installed ?
4. In firefox go to "about:plugins" and see if it's there.

Hi,

The plugins weren't in my Firefox folder. I thought it would be something like that but didn't know where to look.

Thanks for your help!
