Hi there! I expected to find yum-applet in fc6... but I can't see it... wasn't it put into fc6 eventually?

It's called puplet, it should be there by default :)

It's there... but it's kind of broken... when I try to run it I get this:

[root@localhost skorpio]# puplet
libnotify-Message: Unable to get session bus: Did not receive a reply. Possible causes include: the remote application did not send a reply, the message bus security policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired, or the network connection was broken.
Error: unable to initialize pynotify

what's that?

1; It probably requires internet connection (like FC5, though I thought this was going to be fixed in 6)
2; I see a selinux reference in there (security policy) If you have a good connection (and you're not behind a proxy) try (as root) setenforce 0, then run puplet again. If this works, remember to setenforce 1 when done.
