Well.. I did successfully install FC6.

Everything was fine except that the system clock was running too fast. For every second the time got updated by more than 3 seconds.

I also get this error message on my console.

Oct 28 06:51:59 localhost kernel: Timer ISR/0: Time went backwards: delta=-24512
846 delta_cpu=55487154 shadow=138865525671 off=258008543 processed=139148000000

I downloaded the older kernel kernel-smp-2.6.17-1.2187_FC5 and installed it. Now it is working fine.

What is wrong with the latest XEN Stuff? I gave the commandline acpi=off clock=pic and then it became alright. However, after this the WIFI (ipw3945) didnt turn on. it said that the radio button is off, though I had it on.

Would be happy to get a reply.

Shiva

I run the latest non xen kernel (2200) on this machine no problems with time

Well. I did the same. And now things are OK. I am just inquisitive why the xen kernel goes berserk.
