Hi All,

Happy Friday.

Need some help please. I am using Fedora 6 & was following instructions from an earlier post on how to manually install firefox.i386

I got to the step "# gedit /etc/yum.repos.d/fedora-update.repo" and nothing was there for me to edit. I am assuming it's because these instructions were for Fedora 5, maybe?

http://forums.fedoraforum.org/forum/showthread.php?t=102143&highlight=manually+installing+plugins

So now I am without firefox. I am sure I could install it using other methods, but I'd like to complete what I started so I can learn the hard way.

Can anyone offer a solution?

Thanks,
JubJub

For
"# gedit /etc/yum.repos.d/fedora-update.repo"
Read
"# gedit /etc/yum.repos.d/fedora-updates.repo"

Since gedit didnt find fedora-update.repo, it opened a blank new file
The file actually is fedora-updates.repo, there is a typo mistake in the link provided
