ei guys, just wanna ask if u cud give me the command to activate and deactivate my dsl connection thru terminal. here is my connection setting in the System>Administration>Network tab:

Device NickName Type
ppp0 dslconn xDSL

though i know its a bit silly to ask that since it'l just be making simple things complicated, i just would like to know how its done thru the terminal... so i would really appreciate all your help. thanks!

hi codvx87, well, i believe pppoeconf doesn't work in fc5... i've tried that already since that was one of the first things i've learned when i was using ubuntu before... and besides, pppoeconf only calls the configuration utility for the your pppoe connection, i've already finished configuring, and what i need are the commands to activate or deactivate the connection... anyway, i still want to thank you for replying =)
