so.. uh.. *looks around*

where is amarok? is it gone for us 64bit people? does i386 extras have it?

due to the punishment of running modern technologys here are my new motto(s):
1. 64bit getting the shaft again
2. xinerama getting the shaft again

Yeah, just want to say... me too. I uninstalled it to satisfy a dependency only to find it no longer available? It's my favorite. Tried updates-testing, and i386 repos. I am also running x86_64

did you try to find an rpm elsewhere? Say on pbone.net or rpmfind.net yet? Maybe livna has it for x64? I have a 64 bit processor at home - but I've been reluctant to install the 64 bit fedora on for this very reason.

amarok is disabled for x86-64 because recent version use HelixPlayer as backend engine (currently incompatible with x86-64 system). :(

We should be able to luse it with another engine (say xine or gstreamer)... I'll compile I suppose. Thanks for the heads up.

yeah i always used it with xine, the helix engine is way too flakey to be considered production ready
