I have FC-5 and use KDE.

I used "Add/Remove Programs" and I removed Thunderbird and Firefox. Then I downloaded those programs and installed them. But they had the same settings as before. Am I neglecting something?

Thanks,

royeo

yep, you're neglecting ~/.mozilla

in your home directory, there's a directory .mozilla/ in that are your settings for Thunderbird, Firefox, and the Mozilla suite. Try moving it to something like .mozilla.backup (just in case) and starting Firefox again.

I want to uninstall a previous version of Firefox. How would that be done?
