View Full Version : annoying .Trash folder on USB thumb drive

In Gnome, is there any way to turn off automatic .Trash folder creation, only for USB removable media? I couldn't find any options via System > Preferences > Removeable Drives And Media (gnome-volume-properties)

>> as a temp fix, I found the "Delete, bypass Trash" option in Nautilus, but.. I like .Trash folders for disks, in general.

And just to prove it's not just me who dislikes this functionality, a previous post (posted in hardware) (http://www.fedoraforum.org/forum/showthread.php?t=55592&highlight=%22thumb+drive%22+trash)
