ipconfig/renew
ipconfig/all
ipconfig/release
ipconfig/flushdns
etc.

Thanks

I am not very well versed with Linux but ifconfig would be the equivalent of ipconfig /all and service network restart would do what ipconfig /renew and ipconfig /release would do.

ipconfig/release
ipconfig/renew

netconfig is command to assign physical and vitrual ip address to the ethernet card
to assign virtual ip use command:netconfig --device eth0:1
1 for first vir ip
2 for second
and so on...

The best way to renew the network configurations is to restart the network service.

>ipconfig /renew : "service network restart"
>ipconfig /all : "ifconfig -a"
>ipconfig/release : "ifconfig [-a] [-i] [-v] [-s] <interface> [[<AF>] <address>]
[del <address>[/<prefixlen>]]"
