I setup a software RAID6 under ubuntu 6.0.6 and would like to know the proper way to move it to FC5. I used mdadm to create the RAID6 as md0. The whole array is formatted ext3. The RAID consist of six 250GB ATA drives in one case with three Firewire bridge boards chained together. The array is connected to an Apple powerbookG4 and I would like to migrate it to an identical Powerbook running Fedora Core 5. Can I just plug the array in to the other Fedora box and have it work right away?

Just a quick bump to see if anyone can help. I tried plugging it in to the FC5 box but it didn't do anything. I'm afraid to try and reassemble it and screw up my RAID. Can I use the /proc/mdstat to build a mdconf file from? Here is the outpout from mdstat and mdadm --detail.
