Ive used Ubuntu for a short time and after updating it, i was impressed !

My Notebook Special Keys like the Volume and The Email and Internet and Media Buttons work well... on my Hardware and on my IRDA Device!

But i was wrong tu update Fedora 5 (Even Gnome):-( They dont work here, knows any one that little tweak or program that make them work in ubuntu? because assining them by console i wont do, because there have had to be any program that does it to me on linux :-)

I hope someone could help me, and my keys will work simple and quick ;-)

Try System -> Preferences -> Keyboard Shortcuts and see if that will allow you to set them up.

Now iam impressed too ;-) It Works great !

But for what music programm the Audio settings are pointing for ? I assignet "next title" but under xmms it doesnt work...but volum etc work great ! :-) For what music programm are these settings ?

Is it possible to assign an own "command" to an button ? for example i press the video stream button on my remote and xmms starts ?
