I am trying to do an http install. It is crashing on me, and I am not sure why exactly. Here is the first error up from the bottom of the debug file. Is there a way to get past this?

: Try 1/5 for http://www.mydomain.com/tank/Fedora5/disc1/Fedora/RPMS/w3m-0.5.1-12.2.1.i386.rpm failed

Why can't you use:
yum httpd install

Is that command given instead of linux askmethod at boot up?

Just to clarify... I am not trying to install httpd, I am trying to install FC5 via http , using linux askmethod.

I don't understand what you said, linux askmethod.

I'm just saying why use those dingy rpm files? Move on to yum to do the dirty work, those are already compiled and installed automatically.

Open up terminal, type 'su -' without quotes and then type 'yum httpd install' without quotes.
After it installed.
Type 'chkconfig httpd on' without quotes
Type 'service httpd start' without quotes

Good luck
