Hello all!

Fighting with Fedora to build my own working kernel...

The first thing is that i want to build pure kernel from kernel.org sources.
The second is I don't want to use initrd.

So after successful building and adding new kernel to grub, trying to boot system. All neccessary drivers are included, i've see messages about successfully mounted root, and then system reboots with no information...

The main thing is I don't know how to view log of unsuccessfull boot...

Does anybody get own kernel working in FC5? Without initrd and Fedora patches?

This isn't fedora specific but it may help you:
