Maybe someone can shed some light on this subject. i did a search but came up with pages upon pages of results, not finding what i am looking for

This is probably a simple question, but, unfortunately, not for me

When in a Windows machine, to get to the device drivers, all you need to do is right click on my computer, go to hardware, then device manager. Once you are in there, you see the yellow question marks for devices that windows didnt find.

In Fedora, I am sure there is an equivalent to that, but, Ill be darned if I can find it. Can someone help me out?

Thanks in advance for your time.

Gary

Hello:
Not sure if this is exactly what you are looking for, however, using Gnome to to /System/Administration/Hardware
You should find a list of your attached hardware and some driver information.
If this is not available you may have to install via yum, hwbrowser and or hwdata

Please excuse my ignorance, but, I am not sure how I "use" gnome.

I mean, I know I have Gnome installed, but, is there a "Gnome" ICON that I click on ?

Sorry...I am just very new to this..

thank you in advance for your help and patience.
